I just can’t get over how much plastic surgery she’s had.
For GISHWHES 2012, my lovely and talented best friend abourget meticulously crafted and posed for #86 - a bejeweled bosom covered with nothing but jewels.
Today Love and Pride Jewelry modified it for use in a facebook advertisement and posted it without credit or her permission.
We would appreciate you voicing your support for artist credit and consideration on their facebook post!

When you agree to sign up for Facebook, in the Terms you give them permission to use any of your photos for advertisements, this is actually completely legal. They agreed to it. Read the Terms before you sign up, or judge, they actually don’t need to give credit.
Copy and pasting yet again. That’s only if you are the owner of the image which this girl is not.
Except the person who took this image isn’t even the copyright holder for it anymore. The waiver that you sign in order to do GISHWHES states that Conglomerated Ubiquitous Multinational, LLC (aka the company behind GISHWHES) has all the rights to the image. You sign that away. The images can’t be posted publicly until after the hunt is over when GISHWHES has given permission in part so that people don’t steal items but also so that they can obtain the legal copyright.
The GISHWHES coffee table book, in which this image appears, states that no part of the book may be used or reproduced in any matter without written permission.
Even if the original artist had posted the image to Facebook (which has never been verified) it would have been after they no longer had the copyright for it. If I were to post a still from Harry Potter on my Facebook page Facebook could not sell that image because I was never allowed to grant them that copyright. Further more someone couldn’t use that promotional still of Harry Potter in an advertisement to sell their product. Warner Bros. would strike them down big time because they had the right to.

I don’t go to this site. Something linked me to it. Maybe it’s not that bad, I don’t know, but with a slogan like that I don’t want to be a part of that site. You have to admit; to an outsider, a slogan like that is off-putting and really upsetting. Like, why do people abuse people like that? Celebrities are people too, I was expecting users of this site to be annoyed by this post, but frankly I don’t care because it’s inexcusable.
